I am so saddened to see that Debbie has passed away. She and I were best friends in 8th grade. We attended St. Mary's together and shared a lot of "firsts", first boyfriends, first kisses, first cigarettes... I remember her as being so friendly and funny, we had a lot of fun together listening to music and dreaming of our futures. To her family I pray that you cherish her memory and know that she was a delightful friend to me!
I too am saddened by Debbie's passing. I was also in 8th grade St. Mary's and I remember the class going to the Berea Theater to see The Ten Commandments. I sat next to Debbie and had an 8th grade crush on her, if there is such a thing in 8th grade. Did not pay much attention to the movie because I was so excited to be sitting next to her. I might not remember what I had for breakfast today but I clearly remember that day .
