ANNOUNCEMENTS
Happy Birthday to me..today! ( 05/28/1955) not sure why it is not on the site? My present? I got my first radiation treatment for prostate cancer!

OUR WEBSITE NEEDS YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The cost of our class website is nearly $500 per year in various web and software fees.   While we prepaid a portion of this from reunion proceeds, we still have a balance due to continue this site.

A donation to our Class fund will help us sustain and continue this website for the next several years.  Classmates can continue to update their biographies, upload new photos and share their news.  And equally important, it allows us to continue the In Memory page of lost classmates.

THANK YOU for your support of the Class of '73

Contacting Classmates:

Anyone registered on this website can receive messages from other registered classmates.    If you'd like your classmates to have your email address, fill in that info on your profile.   (Even though we may have it, we can't share it unless you include it on your profile.)

Please encourage unregistered classmates you have contact with to register.  They control how much or how little information is on the website. We get requests here and through our FB Group for updates on classmates and this is the best way we have to stay in touch.

WELCOME to the Berea High School Class of '73 website

As the 50th Class Reunion Committee was working on plans, we decided that a website dedicated to the legacy of our class would be appropriate.  As we researched classmates, we found we could add and share contact information and class photos much easier with a website.   So we concurrently built the website while making Reunion plans.

We hope you'll complete your profile information:  contact details, your occupation, what you've been doing, retirement plans, children and grandchildren, military service and a "School story".

Take some time to "visit" old classmate profiles.  We suggest you click on the SHOW YEARBOOK PHOTOS option to scroll through a yearbook-version of our classmates and profiles.

Click on the MISSING CLASSMATES link at the top of the page to view the list of those who haven't joined yet ~ your personal invite to them is appreciated!

We also invite you to view the IN MEMORY page dedicated to classmates who are no longer with us.  (Should you learn about the loss of any classmate, please do send us an email with an obituary link if possible.)

Finally, click on the two REUNION PHOTO links on the left to enjoy memories of our Cheers & Beers to 50-years reunion celebration.

REUNION FUND DISTRIBUTIONS

Thanks to the fine Class Reunion budget work of Suzanne and "spreadsheet" Jeff, the class reunion weekend generated some excess funds.   Rather than letting them sit idle in the bank, the committee decide to make several distributions.

After creating the class website as a part of the reunion event, we pre-paid part of the website fees for another 2 years, thru Oct. 1, 2025. With over 180 members, this represents over one-third of active classmates.

Next, a donation was made to the Berea High School Alumni Association in appreciation of the school tour on Saturday, and registration support at our Saturday evening event.

Finally, a donation was made to the Sue Ann Thayer Kratzer Memorial Scholarship fund through the Berea Education Foundation.  A '73 classmate, this scholarship was established in 2018 in Sue Ann's memory to support a senior swimmer/Aquateen with a strong work ethic and team leader with academic achievement and financial need.   If fellow '73 classmates want to contribute to this fund, donations may be sent to the Education Foundation at 390 Fair St in Berea OH 44017 (be sure to designate Sue Ann's fund).  More details can be found via this link: http://www.educationfoundationberea.org/thayer-kratzer.html
